LCD Screen Display
All 3 Logbooks have a large clear LCD screen. The scroll button gives access to the following display functions:
Meter Mode - Displays sensor values in the appropriate scientific units for all four channels.
Auto recognition of all Logbook sensors, Philip Harris hand sensors, SensorMeters, Cube sensors and FirstSense sensors.
Recording Mode - Displays sensor values and recording status. Allows the selection of Auto and Snapshot recording types.
File Status - Displays file utilisation.
Logger Status - Displays time, date, battery status and charging status (WL and UL only)
Fast recording also allows triggering on up to two channels and with a data-buffer built in. This buffer allows pre-trigger data to be logged of fast events, such as the current induced in a coil.
Built-in timing functions in the Logbook allows the user to carry out simple investigations using lightgates.
Software and Investigations Manual Included
Each Logbook is supplied with a Master Licence of Datadisc Pt software (see page ). This enables the purchasing school to install the software on a network, and use it on one PC at a time.
The software CD also includes full user manual, an investigations manual, and electronic workcards.
Each additional Logbook purchased is supplied with a Single User Licence.
