Teaching fractions, decimals and percentages together as "Equivalence" is particulary effective. It is more meaningful to the children to see how they are all parts of a whole, and that one can be "the same as" another. When you use the resources from the Equivalence range, the children constantly see and manipulate images of fractions, decimalsand percentages in close proximity, so strengthening their understanding of the relationship between them.
